BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Javier graduated with top honors from Carrington College, studying pathological diseases and cranial sacral therapy. After 12 years of mentorship from master bodyworker, Robert Harris, Javier founded The Balance Healing Center, employing physio realignment to treat injuries such as sprains, tears, bulging discs and pathological illnesses.
During the 2016 Rio Olympics, Javier served as lead massage therapist and body worker for the USA Olympic Wrestling team, including first-time women's wresting gold medalist, Helen Maroulis, and currently works with UFC and Bellator champions, athletes, dancers, and Olympians.
Javier joined PLUR Foundation after participating as a direct partner for our large scale Tents-For-Homeless event, providing tents and warm clothes for over 1,000 homeless people in Downtown Los Angeles. While helping to shape the future of PLUR Foundation, he donates his time to develop dance programs for at-risk children and is a member of Shelter of Hope, an organization building a shelter for abused women and children in Costa Rica.
